Communications Manager

TATINO is seeking a dynamic Communications Manager to join our team and lead communication efforts for our flagship initiatives: First Cut Lab, Pop Up Film Residency, Full Circle Lab, and other partnership programs.


Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a flexible, creative, and skilled communicator who:

  • Has expertise in writing, digital content creation, and storytelling.

  • Is knowledgeable about the film industry and passionate about supporting filmmakers and projects from diverse regions.

  • Thrives in a collaborative team environment and contributes fresh ideas to enhance communication strategies.

  • Has at least 2-3 years of working experience in a similar role.


Key Responsibilities

The Communications Manager will have the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within Europe, with occasional attendance at onsite meetings and events to familiarize themselves with TATINO’s initiatives, define workflows, and set objectives for the communication strategy.


The selected candidate will work closely with the Heads of Programs and report to the Director, ensuring seamless alignment with the goals of TATINO. As Communications Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Planning - Develop and manage a communication strategy, ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms.

  • Press and Media Relations - Create press releases and website texts, maintain media relationships, and manage coverage opportunities.

  • Social Media Coordination - Collaborate with social media managers to implement campaigns, providing key messages and content briefs.

  • Digital Management - Oversee digital platforms including websites, social media, newsletters, and mailing lists.

  • Collaborative Strategy - Work with program heads to refine and execute a cohesive communication plan.

  • Evaluation - Monitor and report on communication effectiveness, suggesting improvements where needed.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in digital communication.

  • Strong storytelling and writing skills with a flair for creating engaging content.

  • Proficiency with necessary communication tools, social media platforms, and analytics tools

  • A passion for the film industry and supporting filmmakers.

  • The ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.



Finance and Administration Manager

TATINO is looking for an experienced Finance and Administration Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for the provision of effective financial management as well as managing the administrative functions and support of TATINO’s efforts across all programs.


Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a detail-oriented, flexible, organized, and skilled Finance and Administration Manager who:

  • Has experience overseeing cross-functional financial processes

  • Has experience in financial reviews, committed to integrity, confidentiality, and discretion

  • Is knowledgeable about the film industry and passionate about supporting filmmakers and projects from diverse regions.

  • Experience of working in an environment where strong attention to detail and accuracy are required.

  • This role is open to recent graduates with degrees in Finance, Administration, or Cultural Management. Previous experience in similar roles is an asset but is not required.

The selected candidate will work closely with the Heads of Programs and report to the Director, ensuring seamless alignment with the goals of TATINO. As Financial Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Finance Management: Establish effective accounting and bookkeeping systems and procedures and oversee accounting services.

  • Financial Planning: Oversee and assist with all financial reporting activities, including monthly and annual management accounts across all initiatives.

  • Accounting Management: Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, processing and receipting, and payment of invoices and bills.

  • Implementation of Financial Strategies: Identify and implement process improvements and enabling tools and systems to provide enhanced financial and operational information.

  • Admin Management: Oversee the receipt and submission of timely and complete narrative and financial reports to partners.

  • Team Coordination: Collaborate across multiple Heads of Programs to understand the program plans and how they translate to financial statements, ensuring compliance with partners’ requirements.


Qualifications and Skills

Interested applicants must have the following:

  • Proven experience in financial management and administrative roles.

  • Excellent presentational skills, specifically presenting financial information clearly and as simply as possible to ensure key details are understood and actionable.

  • Ability to effectively communicate across different teams with diverse expertise.

  • The ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.


Job Details (for both roles)

  • Location: Remote with occasional onsite engagements in Europe. Candidates based in Paris or Bratislava are preferred, but not required.

  • Schedule: Part-time or Full-time
