A residency is only as good as the films it helps bring to life. Here are seven that make the case.
TATINO is proud to spotlight seven projects developed within its Pop Up Film Residency program — all currently in production. 7 films from Brazil to Switzerland, Egypt to the Philippines that were developed in 7 residencies, located all over the world: Asuncion, Batroun, Bratislava, Bucharest, Fårö, Paris, and Vilnius.
These locations are one of a kind — and so are the stories.
Funerals that crack families open, a child's imagination turning dangerous, two sisters settling twenty years of silence over a dying cinema, a clown becoming an unlikely companion to grief, a young idealist swallowed by the system she set out to change, a hunter who becomes the hunted.
